Martha Foster, known to family as Nita, was born on June 30, 1957, in Victoria, Louisiana, to Leola Foster and William Benard. She lived in Las Vegas, Nevada, until 2011, when she moved to Tucson, Arizona, where she resided until her death on January 8, 2025.
Throughout her working years, Nita held various jobs, including housekeeping in Las Vegas and working with special needs students in Colorado.
She was predeceased by her mother, Leola Foster in 1997, 2 brothers, Freddie Foster and Moses Foster, and 1 sister, Marguerite Hall, in 2009.
Nita is survived by her two sisters, Alberta Foster and Regina Harris of Arizona. 2 children, Lacresha Langston of Arizona and Jermaine Foster of Colorado, four grandchildren: Daijahnna Langston, Xavier Langston, Anatalya Langston, and Emmanuel Langston. Nita is also remembered by a host of friends and extended family.
