Martha C. Rivera

May 3, 1931 – October 15, 2012

Went peacefully surrounded by her children and family to be with her heavenly Father. Mom was born in Marsh Station AZ, raised in Patagonia, AZ. She married Ramon C. Rivera October 1952. With that union they had and raised five children. Mom was an avid book reader, enjoyed traveling, yard sales and casinos. Mom loved being outdoors and spending endless time with her family. Preceeded in death by her parents Arturo & Isabel Corrales, 5 brothers and 1 sister, her beloved grandson David Ray, and husband of 50 years, Ramon S. rivera. Survived by her children Ramon(Carol), Virginia(Ralph), Ruben(Carol), Fred(Corina), 15 gradchildren, 21 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. Our special thanks to our tia’s, Luz, Cuca and Carmen for loving her as a sister and also our sincere gratitude to Chris from Heartland Hospice. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with rosary at 7:00 pm at Funeraria del Angel University, 7 E. University on Monday, October 22nd. Mass will be at 10:30 am at St. Margaret Mary Parish, 801 N. Grande Ave. on Tuesday, October 23rd with burial to follow at South Lawn Cemetery. Gone but never forgotten; Forever in our hearts.
