

Martin had a passion for The Arts (drawing, music, and filmography). He loved attending concerts, NHRA drag races, enthusiastically adding to his collection of over 1,000 albums, and skillfully playing electric and acoustic guitar. He indulged in watching classic western films, cooking networks, sports, nature documentaries, news, and Late Night Talk Shows. He was the biggest fan of the Chicago Bears, Chicago Cubs, Boston Celtics, and U of A Sports.
He was fond of spending time and bonding with his grandchildren by attending their school, sporting events, and celebrations.
He proceeded in death by his Grandmother Maria Ruiz and his mother Rafaela Gonzales.
He survived by his beloved wife, Patricia Gomez, his sons Martin “Gabriel” Gamez, and Damon J. Gamez and his daughter Erica P. Roberts (David).
He survived by his siblings, Joe Gamez (Tammy), Mario Bourjac (Maria), Johnny Frausto (Paty), and Sally Frausto. He survived by numerous Tias, Tios, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
He survived by his Grandchildren Julianna E. Gamez, Kaitlin A. Gamez, Damon J. Gamez Jr, Martin “Giancarlo” Gamez, Damion “Peyton” Gamez, Dayveon E. Gamez, Delianna J. Gamez, David A. Robert’s Jr, Dayvon D. Gamez, and coming soon, Tiberius "Bear" Roberts.
A visitation for Martin will be held Wednesday, October 30, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel South Lawn, 5401 South Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706, followed by a rosary from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
