Mary Helen Cotton
November 2, 2018
I have fond memories of Mrs. Mary Helen Cotton, whom I have fondly called Mrs. Helen all of my life. I met the Cottons in 1959, when my parents Charles and Helen Bass moved to Tucson. It is difficult to believe that she has transitioned to her next life. We now live in Houston, Texas where I am my Mother's caregiver. Unfortunately, Mother does not remember those times in Tucson, because she has dementia. However, I am holding on and honoring those memories. I am holding on to the time when Mrs. Helen, Aunt Alice Ruth, and Darlene kept my brother and me. It was a beautiful time--a time filled with love and laughter. To my Sisters Marilyn and Kathy, and my Brothers Kenny and Darrell, I pray that the God of love and peace will comfort you and keep you as you mourn the loss of your beautiful Mother. Sending each of you hugs and kisses.
