Mindy Kay Cromwell

2025, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Tucson Arizona. The family is deeply saddened and shocked by her

sudden death. She was born April 5th, 1978, in Pontiac Illinois. She attended Cheyenne Central

HS and was class of 1996. Mindy worked for the WY Military Department Finance and Recruiting,

and for the Cheyenne Municipal Court. She completed her associate's degree in science business

administration with high honors and was working towards her master's. Mindy cherished her

friendships, that lasted the remainder of her life. She enjoyed photography, the outdoors,

traveling, spending time with her family, and especially being a Nana to her granddaughter.

Mindy is survived by her husband, Jeff Cromwell (Sierra Vista, AZ); mother, Laverna Stone

(Cheyenne, WY); brother, Brian Kindelberger (Minneapolis, MN); daughter Emmelie Priest (FT

Collins, CO); and granddaughter, Elouise Priest (FT Collins, CO). She also leaves many family

members and friends who will miss her dearly. Although Mindy's physical presence may no longer

with us, she leaves behind a legacy of fierce, protective love watching over her family. We know

Mindy is no longer in pain and is at peace, we now carry forth her legacy of love and devotion that

she had taught us.

Mindy’s ashes will be interned at Yellowstone National Cemetery in Laurel, MT. A celebration of

Mindy’s life will be held following. The family is currently making plans for the funeral and

reception; further details will be shared soon. The family express their gratitude to caregivers and

medical personnel who did all they could and suggest donations to charities the deceased

supported in lieu of flowers.
