Myrna Romo

Myrna Romo, age 73, of Tucson, Arizona passed away on Friday, August 23, 2024, in Chino, California. Myrna was born on October 21, 1950 in Agua Prieta, Sonora, Mexico, to Manuel Romo and Adelina Acosta Romo, both of whom preceded their daughter in passing.

Myrna was a proud member of Comunidad de Amor and Iglesia de Dios, and was a woman of unshakable faith, and could be often found repeating the 91st and 23rd Psalms. Her strong faith was passed to her children, to whom she was devoted to raising with kindness, love, and strength. Myrna also held passion for cooking, and took great joy in sharing the food she made with her family. She is fondly remembered for her appreciation of the little, finer things in life, and her love of a good shopping trip.

Myrna is preceded in passing by her first husband, Francisco Mendoza, and her one brother, Manuelito Romo, as well as her parents.

Myrna is survived by her children, eldest daughter Liliana Mendoza, son Francisco Mendoza, and youngest daughter Claudia Molina. She is further survived by 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service and celebration of life for Myrna will be held Saturday, September 7, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel South Lawn, 5401 South Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706. Visitation to start at 11:00am and services to begin at 12:30pm-1:30pm, speakers to follow from 1:30pm-2:30pm.
