Nellie J Wood

Nellie (Nell) Wood, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on August 7, 2025, at the age of 86. Born on May 7, 1939, Nell lived a life marked by grace, quiet strength, and a deep devotion to those she loved.

Throughout her years in Arizona, Nell was known for her lively spirit and unwavering kindness, her love of family and light-hearted humor, her resilience and generosity. She touched countless lives with her love of children and pets, always offering warmth, care, and a listening ear.

Nell was preceded in death by her mother Edna Wallace, her sister Joan Aceves, her husband Oliver J Wood, her son Daniel Burton, and son-in-law Wes Radcliffe.

She is survived by her children Brenda (Dave) Mattausch, Michael (Carrie) Tracy, and Charlene Radcliffe; her grandchildren Brandon & Briana (Jimmy) Mattausch, Nathan (Nicole) Tracy, and Derek, Grant, and Brittney Radcliffe; and her great-grandchildren Ariana and Carson.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew her, and in the stories, values, and love she passed down.

A funeral service will be held on August 26, 2025, at East Lawn Palms Mortuary & Cemetery,
