Our beautiful mom was an English second language child, who proudly earned her diploma from Tucson High. A faithful Catholic woman, who prayed for everyone, recited the rosary every night, attended mass every Sunday in the past and most recently watched daily mass on television. Her favorite hymn was Amazing in Grace. She loved to dance and enjoyed all types of music ranging from Rosie and the Originals, Kenny Rogers, Tina Turner, Little Joe y la Familia, Ruben Ramos and her all time favorite, Ramon Ayala. She was a proud hard working Electronic Assembler for many years, most fond memories from National Semiconductor and Burr Brown. After retiring, she dedicated her time caring for her husband. She had a gift and it came so naturally to her. Always willing to help. She obtained her Caregiving Certificate after retirement to properly care for family and friends. She loved her word search books, puzzles, playing board games, loteria, cards and personalizing greeting cards with colorful drawings and stickers. She kept a routine schedule watching western movies, the daily Local News, Two and a Half Men, George Lopez, Roseanne, King of Queens, The Closure, Monk, and Columbo. She was the fun loving person everyone enjoyed conversations with, her sense of humor and the genuine love she made them feel.
Thank you for being a wonderful “LOVE YOU MUCHO” little sister, mom, nana, nanita, tia, nina and friend. You are dearly missed. We find peace knowing you are free from your illness. We treasure all our beautiful memories. You will live on forever through us. We will carry you in our hearts until we meet again. Forever Odilia and the Kane Girls.
We would like to thank Banner and the Cancer Center for the care you provided for our mother. Thank you Bristol Hospice, Nurse Melina and Nurse Kathy as well as the others who contributed to her care. Mil gracias to our family and friends for their continued support, prayers and love.
