Ona is survived by her spouse, George Gibson; son James Gibson of Sahuarita, Arizona; daughter-in-law Andrea Gibson of Sahuarita, Arizona; son Gary Gibson; and daughter-in-law Tonyia Gibson; granddaughter Emily Gibson and grandson Andrew Gibson. Ona was a bookkeeper and volunteered her services for the Pima Council on Aging. Ona loved horses; when she moved to Arizona from New Jersey, she brought two of her horses with her. George and Ona purchased a home in Tanque Verde where they raised Quarter Horses, American Paints, and Thoroughbreds. Ona was one of the founding members of the Southern Arizona Quarter Horse Association. She loved going to horse shows all over Arizona to compete in English and Western Pleasure, Western Riding, Reining, and Pleasure Driving. Ona loved to dance; she would take her partner George ballroom dancing almost every weekend. Ona belonged to the Prune Juice Follies dance troupe and would perform regularly. Ona loved life and lived everyday like it was the last,we love you and miss you.
