Gone from us for a year now, I didn't realize how much a part of my life Pat remained at his death.  Very few weeks go by that I don't have a question about some trivial piece of information that I'm certain he'd know the answer to and my first impulse is to call or text him; or some question that he'd say "You'll have to remember to ask God that one when you get there."  Those two thoughts provided the reasoning behind the inscription on his headstone: "All questions answered": He enjoyed being the source of so much information to me,  his friends and family during life and his questions have now all been answered in the ever-after. I miss him.


Our good friend, Mr. Pat, as he was called by my wife Deb and I, has been taken from us much to early!
Pat was a good man to all who knew him and my best friend! It was my pleasure and honor to introduce him to his first live race event, enjoying the Nascar Cup Series at Phoenix International Raceway!
It was always a pleasure to "do battle" and try to match wits with my friend over sports teams, politics and life in general.  When the three of us would get together, over a bowl of "Mr. Pat" snacks and a few beers, we would always part ways with a smile and a laugh!
He is missed dearly by our family, which he was a part of since we first met!!!
May our dear friend rest in peace and the good lord watch over him!!!

Taken from us to young: I was married to Pat for about 12 years. Though we divorced  over 20 years ago we remained good friends. He was my daughter's "daddy" and my best source for trivial information. I will miss him dearly.
