Paul Rodney Nogales

Paul R. Nogales (53 years old) passed away on February 5, 2026. His final moments were spent surrounded by family and friends. He was a loving husband, proud father, caring tata, cherished son and brother and a good friend.

Paul cut hair for a living and followed in his father’s footsteps. He was excited for his daughter to join the trade and become a third-generation barber. Paul was very proud of his children and grandchildren and would often talk your ear off about their accomplishments. Paul loved his family deeply and never hesitated to show up for those he cared about.

Paul’s time was spent watching U of A Wildcats, playing pool, and most of all enjoying time with his family and friends. Paul knew how to make others laugh and feel loved. He treated everyone as equals and would befriend anyone willing to have a conversation. He was always ready to have a good time and was often considered the life of the party. His smile brightened the room, and he truly was one of a kind!

Paul is preceded in death by his mother, Maryellen Nogales.

Paul is survived by his father Ruben Nogales, his wife Carla Nogales (Castillo), son Christopher Nogales (Alyssa), daughters Jazmin Nogales (David), and Janessa Nogales, his brothers Ruben Nogales (Penny), Freddy Nogales (Martha), Ernie Nogales (Lisa), and his sisters Tammy Inzunza (Cesar), and Sabrina Nogales. Paul also leaves behind his mother-in-law, Nancy Castillo, his grandchildren, Roman, Abraham, Amaya, Aubrielle, Jaylee, and Arabella along with many other family members and friends.

Services for Paul will be held on Saturday February 28, 2026.

A Viewing will be held at Funeraria del Angel South Lawn 5401 S Park Ave Tucson, AZ 85706. Viewing from 08:00-09:00am.

Rosary and Funeral Mass will follow at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church 602 W Ajo Way Tucson, AZ 85713. Rosary at 10:00am and Mass at 10:30am.

Interment will follow the mass at South Lawn Cemetery 5401 S Park Ave Tucson, AZ 85706.

There will be a luncheon following the graveside services at the Funeraria del Angel reception hall.
