

Randy was born in Tampa, Florida and eventually moved to Tucson, Arizona. He graduated from Rincon High School and excelled at wrestling. After high school, he went on to graduate from the UofA. He worked as a prison guard, served in the United States Air Force, worked for the Postal Service, and as he got older, for the School District.
Randy was dedicated to spreading kindness, and found joy in helping others. He donated to many charities and was often involved in volunteer work for the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He loved to work hard and play hard. Randy was always uplifting and optimistic even in the hours leading to his death. He cast a positive light on all the people that got the chance to meet him and he will continue to live on through others.
Randy was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. He is survived by his children Derek, Kelsey, and son-in-law Bryan; his grandchildren Nathaniel, Chloe, and Abryana; his two brothers Rick, Michael and sister-in-law Ellen, along with his nieces Ashley and Seanna, and their children Angelina, Nathan, Ellie, and Benjamin.
A memorial service for Randy will be held Friday, February 21, 2025, beginning with the rendering of Military Honors at 2:00 PM at East Lawn Palms Mortuary, 5801 E. Grant Road, Tucson, AZ 85712. Following the memorial service will be a reception from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
