Raul Plantillas Elenes, 67 passed away into the arms of The Lord on January 23, 2022. Raul was born in Mexico to Jose Maria Romero Elenes and Teofila Plantillas. Raul was raised in Tucson, Arizona. He married Thelma Duran Mendez on March 19, 1973. Raul worked as an underground miner for 45 years. He enjoyed hunting, baseball, football, traveling and spending time with his family. Raul loved his wife, his children, grandchildren and great granddaughter. Raul leaves behind his greatest pride in this life, his wife of 50 years Thelma Duran Elenes; children: Marivel Elenes (Cesar), Dulce Elenes (Tony), Raul Jr. Elenes (Shelly), Bianca Elenes (Juan), 12 grandchildren, and 1 great granddaughter.
A visitation for Raul will be held Sunday, February 27, 2022 from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm at El Senor De Los Milagros, 3410 S 16th Ave, Tucson, AZ 85713.
