

She passed away on October 8, 2018 at the age of 68. She lived with her partner and best friend, Clifton Nelson, for 26 years.
Rebecca graduated from Lenox High School in California and graduated college with both a nursing degree and a Bachelor of Arts. She was a proud registered nurse and worked in prestigious hospitals, including Johns Hopkins and the Mayo Clinic.
Above all, Rebecca loved her family and her wide-variety of animals. She loved creating flower arrangements, singing, dancing and she loved to cook. As a teenager, she was the lead singer of a band and even cut her own album. Baltimore, Maryland was one of her places to visit. She loved feasting on Maryland crab legs.
She made many friends at the Cardiac Rehab in Tucson. She and Clif went many times a week and enjoyed the exercise and social relationships. The other patients, member and staff were always close to her heart.
Rebecca Jane is the daughter of Gerald L. Cooper and Nell Hyde. She adored her parents.
She is survived by her children Richard and Dawn Delia, her grandchildren, Melanie Delia, Sophia Bertucci and Simone Bertucci and her sister, Roberta Patrick. She is also survived by her stepchildren, Desiree Murphy and Paul Nelson and her step-grandchildren, Julianna Murphy, Annabelle Murphy and Natalie Nelson.
Funeral arrangements will be held at 1:30pm, October 12, 2018, at East Lawn Palms Mortuary and Cemetery.
