Richard attended Sunnyside high School, carrying forward the values of hard work and devotion that would remain evident throughout his life.
He built his working life with diligence and reliability at Willard Trucking and Brokerage, earning respect through consistent effort and integrity. Richard also served in the air national guard, reflecting a faithful sense of duty and a compassionate commitment to something greater than himself.
Though Richard never married or had children of his own, he was deeply loved and respected by his many nieces, nephews, and family member, to whom he gave steady care, kindness, and support. His kind-hearted nature and devoted presence left a lasting imprint on those fortunate enough to know him well.
Richard found meaning and enjoyment in simple, thoughtful pursuits. He had a passion for movies, crafting, reading and research—interests that reflected a curious mind and a quiet, enduring appreciation for learning and creativity.
Richard is survived by his mother Freda, his sister Kelly, and step brother Marlan.
