Richard D. Espino Jr.

Richard D. Espino, Jr. born September 30, 1980 in Tucson, AZ ascended into heaven on May 11, 2013. He is survived by his wife, Monique Espino, and daughter, Jasmin Espino, his parents; David and Deborah Ortega, Richard and Fran Espino, and in-laws Dan and Gail Flores and brother-n-law Mike Flores (Hillary, JD), along with his sisters; RoseAnn Reyes (David, Isaiah, and Abram), Angelica Ortega, Melissa Juarez (Angelina), Monique (Richie and Family) and Jessica (David and Family) and brother DJ Ortega (Crystal, Emberli), along with his grandparents Don and Olivia, Rosa, Presi, and Pete and Armida, and many uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.

He will be remembered for his smiling eyes, caring ways, and love that he had for everyone. Ricky battled a rare cancer for 15 months and never was angry or questioned why, he accepted the things he could not change and had the courage to face them, he surrendered his will to God’s plan and lived each day gracefully and positively and cared about others before himself. Ricky had a presence about him that touched everyone that came into his life.

Memorial service will be at East Lawn Palm Cemetery, 5801 E. Grant Rd, Tucson, AZ on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at 4:00 pm.
