He retired from the Air Force in 1969 as a Master Sergeant, during his military career he was stationed in Spain, Newfoundland and Vietnam. He had a second career as a Bailiff for Judges Alice Truman and William Scholl. Dick was a passionate and caring man who enjoyed golf, reading and watching TV. He is reunited with the love of his life, and wife of 33 years, Teal. He was a loving father to his two daughters and a son-in-law, Jackie Nichols, and Cindy and Mike Steber, stepson Clay Robertson; and Bampa to Holly, Courtney, Lindsey, Crystal, Matthew and one great-grandson Daniel. Services will be held July 19, 2017 at South Lawn Cemetery at 10:00 am with internment following. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite charity.
