Richard Krasnick

Richard Krasnick, age 94, of Tucson, Arizona, originally from New Jersey, born April 23, 1928 in Brooklyn, NY, passed peacefully, surrounded by family, at home on Wednesday, June 8, 2022. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Faye, and two sisters, Evelyn Saunders and Janet Gawrych. Survived by Doris, his wife of 70+ years, daughters: Lynda Hayter (Greg), Robin Spencer (Gary) and Illa Krasnick; Grandchildren: Brian Hayter, Jeremy Hayter, Beth Dehner, Michelle Carr, Patrick Spencer, Britni McKinney, Nichole Spencer, Michael Fernandez and Lauren Trujillo; 22 great grandchildren and counting; and 8 great great grandchildren; Sister Lorraine Newman; and many other family members in California, New Jersey and Florida.

Moving to Tucson, Arizona in 1972 from New Jersey for drier weather, he lived a full life. He always stayed busy woodworking, rebuilding historical cars, gardening, socializing with friends and cooking. He loved boating, fishing, skiing, camping, dancing and antiquing.

A committal service for Richard will be held Sunday, June 12, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at East Lawn Palms Mortuary, 5801 East Grant Road, Tucson, AZ 85712.
