Richard dedicated more than 35 years of hard work to Duval Mines, a steady and faithful commitment that reflected a life marked by responsibility, perseverance, and care for those who depended on him.
Beyond his work, Richard was known for a generous spirit and a ready sense of humor—qualities that brought warmth to everyday moments and comfort to those around him. He also carried an adventurous love of the outdoors, finding genuine joy in hunting and fishing.
Richard is survived by his three daughters, Rebecca (Juan), Frances, and Ramona, and by his 10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Stanley; his parents, Stanley and Becki Spiller; his brother, Frank Spiller; his sister, Joann Wheeler; and his cousin, Sharon Eade.
As the years went by, those closest to Richard grew much closer, and that bond will be deeply missed. May your soul Rest in Peace. You'll always be with us.
