Richard Wilford Wilbur

Richard Wilford Wilbur, age 46, of Tucson, Arizona passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2023. He was born in Pennsylvania in 1977, to James E. Wilbur, who precedes him in passing, and Debra Searfoss, who survives him. Richard was one of three children, the middle child between his brother James Wilbur, and younger sister, Chelice Singleton.

Richard is survived further by his grandmother Barbara Lewis, his nephews Chandler and Christian, his niece Charlice, and step-son Tyler, as well as his children Lexi, Tatum, Wayne, Arthur, and Dante. He is preceded in passing by his step-father Gary.

In 2015, Richard met Teresa Postante, with whom he spent eight years happily espoused. They made a home together, filling the days with love and laughter.

In life, Richard channeled his passion to his favorite team, the San Francisco 49er's, and his beloved dog, Frankie Smalls. Richard loved to eat, and could never pick a favorite; if the food was good, what more could a man ask for? Described by those who knew him as "a big, gentle bear," he is fondly recalled as having a good heart and a desire to help others however he could.

Richard's memory will forever be cherished, held in the hearts of his family and friends. He is watching over those he loved, and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
