We all love you and miss you very very much.  We can't wait until we will see you in heaven and hear your wonderful voice.. It seems so long since we saw you. The Lord says that a day is as a thousand years and before we know it we will all be together again.  We love you forever, Arlene, Mike and Teresa.

In 1976, as a young captain, I met and worked with Bob at Davis-Monthan, FTD 512.  CMsgt Barbour taught me more about people and the Air Force than anyone I ever worked with in my entire 26-year career. He was my mentor, my colleague, my friend-- and once Bob was your friend, it was forever! I was very fortunate to have known Bob Barbour. Our love to Arlene and family.

Bob was a mentor to me when I joined the Tucson Bowling Assoc. I will remember him always as a great man and friend, always ready to help in any way he could, my condolences to Arlene and family for your loss.

Our sincere condolences to Arlene and her family on the loss of a wonderful man.  Ed reconnected after 50 years with Bob at their 50th high school reunion in 2001.  Since that time we have been getting together with Bob and Arlene and other Colonia couples almost on a yearly basis.  We always looked forward to those visits. Mr. Barbour was kind - always helping those around him and passing on good and helpful information. His humor and witty comments were readily at hand. I enjoyed receiving his email "Forwards" as they were always good for a laugh or a moment of thought. He will certainly be missed.

Bob was not only my brother in law but my best friend. There are no words that can express the feeling of loss that this tragedy brings. I am thankful that I knew him for over 60 years.  Anna and I will miss him terribly. What a great guy. Al and Anna

Bob was my friend and brother.  We traveled with Bob and Arlene for many years and always had a great time.  He will surely be missed.

My condolences to Aunt Arlene, Mike, and Teresa on the loss of such a good person.  Uncle Bob always made me feel comfortable around him... a quip to make you laugh... offered good advice... truly a good man with a good heart.  I am glad he was part of my life and will surely miss him.

When I think of Uncle Bob I think back to 1977 when we went fishing at the pond across the street from where we lived.  Uncle Bob lit up a cigar and I asked him why he smoked them.....they smelled.  He smiled and said "they keep the elephants away".  I told him there were no elephants there and he responded "see it works". Uncle Bob will be missed and remembered by so many.  Aunt Arlene, Teresa and Mike ....you all are in our thoughts and our prayers

One of the last emails I got from my brother was about a Train of Life.  He said he wasn't planning on getting off the train anytime soon, but if he did he wanted us to remember he was glad we were part of his journey.  And, my brother, we are sure glad you were part of ours.

Bob was my friend from the time we were in grade school. .  He will be remembered for his many acts of kindness and thougthtfulness.  Bob loved his family, loved his country and was thankful to God for his many blessings.   Mere words cannot express the feeling of loss Joanne and I have.  Losing such a good friend creates a void that cannot be filled.

Uncle Bob belonged to that great generation we are loosing.  His moral compass was unwavering and he always did the right thing.  He was a devoted father and husband.
