Bob was born in Durant OK and was preceded in death by his father Marcus Daniel Brunson, mother Nora Ellen (Bonds), brother William Francis Brunson (MIA WWII) and wife of 51 years Margaret Onita Brunson (Cook).
Survived by children; Karen Lynn Johnson (Bill), William Marcus Brunson (Gerri) and Gary Duane Brunson; grandchildren Travis Johnson (Hannah) Danielle Dillenburg (Cory), Andre Newell Sr., Brian Newell (Jennifer), nine great grandchildren; sisters Alma Rhea Lawler (Silverdale, WA), Mildred Lavern Koehler (Longview, WA) and brother Wayne Dale Brunson (Sun City, AZ).
Bob was a charter member of the Tucson Primitive Baptist Church. His family and church were the center of his life.
