I was so saddened to hear about Robert’s illness and now his passing. We worked together on several collaborative cases over the years before his retirement. He always brought the highest level of professionalism and kindness and presence in cases in working with colleagues and his clients. I feel so blessed to have worked with him and gotten to know him. I loved hearing about his travels with Trudy. He brought so much decency to the legal profession. It was a pleasure to have known Robert and he is and will be deeply missed. Xo

We have all lost a kind and caring man. I met Robert in the early 80s and knew, as you did, Trudy, that he was special. I was so happy for him when you found each other and glad that you had each other for so long. His loss is a hole in all of our hearts.

I knew Robert for many years in a networking group and he handled several legal procedures for us as well, always the professional. I appreciated all the work he did with collaborative law and helping everyone reach win-win results. He will be missed by all who knew him - a fine man who left us too soon.

I first knew Robert through business networking. He made me feel so comfortable and I always appreciated his cool calmness. One time I had the chance to sit with him and talk for a while. I learned there were a lot of things I admired about the man.

I will miss him. He was a special person and loved by many.

I was fortunate to work alongside Robert on the Hermitage Board for a short time, and I truly admired his kindness and generosity of spirit. Quite often during meetings someone would mention a person from the Tucson community, or even someone they'd met abroad on their travels, only to find that Robert knew them, as well. He seemed the type of person who nurtured lifelong acquaintances and never met a stranger. Robert always spoke lovingly about his wife Trudy, and he would light up when talking about her and their many travels together. I'm so grateful to have met Robert and consider myself better for having known him even for a short while. My condolences to his family and loved ones. The world has lost a truly joyous soul.

I had the pleasure of working and knowing Robert. Always a pleasure to be around; learned a lot from him. I will never forget the day we rescued his cat, Taylor. We found her at the office in the storage shed (we could never figure out how she got in there). We put her in a box and took her into the office. I vividly remember him putting her in the conference room and Robert rushing to call Trudy to talk to her about keeping her. He fell in love with this little kitten on the spot. They have had her ever since (circa 2006-07). He will be truly missed. My condolences for Trudy and his family. Rest peacefully, Robert.
