Bob was born In Joplin Missouri on 9 August 1936 to Stan and Ora Mae Walker as one of 8 children. He moved to Tucson with his family in 1949 and became the Pastor at Morning Side Baptist in 1952, at the ripe old age of 16. He taught Special Education for more than 30 years in the Tucson Unified District. He was known as a Church Planting Pastor, he pastored more than a dozen churches over his career, in Arizona and in Mexico. He was a proud Educator, Pastor, Historian and Writer.
Bob is survived by his lifetime partner, Frances Lowery and his youngest sister Barbara Ann Mitchell as well as his three sons, Vernon Walker, Randal Walker and Steven Walker and Daughter-in-laws Courtney Walker and Christina Walker. Bob was proud of his sons and their families, which includes 9 grandchildren, 27 Great Grandchildren and one Great-Great Grandchild.
