Robert Gradillas Yslas

Bob was a kind and loving man. He always went out of his way to help neighbors, friends, and family.

Bob graduated from Pueblo High School and served in United States Marine Corps, being honorably discharged as a Corporal First Class. He graduated from Pima Community College, and worked for many years as a respiratory therapist at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Tucson Medical Center, and the Veterans Administration Hospital in Tucson, Arizona. After retiring, he enjoyed volunteering at his granddaughter’s schools, St. Joseph Catholic School, and St. Augustine Catholic High School.

Bob is lovingly remembered by his wife Virginia (Hoover), daughter Catherine, son in-law Robert Lanza, granddaughter Mariana Lanza along with many of his brothers, sisters, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A Rosary Service will be held on Tuesday, August 4th at 7:00 p.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 215 South Craycroft Road, in Tucson, Arizona. Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 5th at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, to be followed by burial at South Lawn Memorial Cemetery, 5401 South Park Avenue, in Tucson, Arizona.

Bob’s warmth, wisdom and compassion touched many lives. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
