Two favorite memories of Rod :  First was watching him as a very young boy flying model airplanes in the baseball field next to my home on the same street we grew up on.  When I heard that familiar buzz, I knew Rod and his dad were having fun, sharing the experiences together.  I was probably 10-14 years old at that time (approx. 2 yrs. older than Rod).

The second one was the time he came to stay with his sister (Holly) and I and I took him water skiing on the lake where we grew up.  It was 95 degrees in September and Rod got sun burned !
