Ronald Rivera Barajas

Ronnie was born in Tucson Az and was the son of Fedelina and Gildardo Barajas. He was the little brother to Jimmie, Diane (Bobby) and Veronica (Gene). He had 2 children- Yvette and Little Ronnie, 3 grandsons Little Ritchie, Elijah and Josiah who loved their Tata Ron very dearly. He also had a special place in his heart for his 2 step daughters Lysette and Tinker. Ronnie was preceded in death by his Father and Mother Gildardo and Fedelina Barajas, Son: Little Ronnie. He graduated from Tucson High and played the saxophone, baseball and football during his adolescent years. He was very smart in math and history and enjoyed having conversations around those subjects. He also enjoyed playing golf in his backyard and building bikes. He was a devoted Washington Redskins fan since he was a little boy. He took pride in his profession doing drywall. He was a humble, sensitive and giving person. He lived a very simple life and would give what he could to anyone that needed a helping hand. He did not believe in judging anyone and always had forgiveness in his heart. The love and bond he and his mother had was something very special. His mother loved him unconditionally and the loss of her 2 months ago along with the loss of his mijo Little Ronnie was a grief very heavy for him to overcome. One of Ronnie's favorite sayings and life mottos was “Let the bygones be the bygones” and he always gave thanks to his “Lord savior Jesus Christ”. He made sure to do the sign of the cross on his children, grandchildren and mom when saying goodbye. Dad, I find comfort in knowing that you are back in the arms of grandma, your loving mother and that you have your mijo Little Ronnie back in your arms. I love you very much and in my heart I know you are finally free from this life of pain, struggles and grief. You loved all of us the best you could and I hope you know that you were loved by all of us. Your absence creates a big void, but we all know you are finally at peace. Ronald Rivera Barajas, age 58, of Tucson, Arizona passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2023. A visitation for Ronald will be held Friday, March 31, 2023 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Funeraria del Angel South Lawn, 5401 South Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 pm. Follow by graveside service 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at South Lawn Cemetery, 5401 South Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706.
