

Samuel Ostrofsky of Tucson, died peacefully at home on April 6, 2017. Mr. Ostrofsky was a loving brother and uncle of large family. Born in Boswell, Pa, on March 29, 1926, Mr. Ostrofskywas a huge fan of sports, especially the Detroit Tigers.
He was a founder of his temple in Midland Michigan, and worked locally at Tattoo Manufacturing before retiring 10 years ago.
He is survived by his sister Thelma Nathanson, his brother Joe Ostrofsky and Polly Ostrofsky, his nieces and nephews Joyce Sinclair, Sharon Shi, Rick and Stephanie Nathanson, Jill Milby, Jeff and Karen Ostrofsky and Jason and Stacie Ostrofsky, his grandnieces and nephews, Scott and Rachel Sinclair, Julie Grozdea, Nathan Shi, Noah, Reuben, Elliott, David and Ariella Nathanson, Tyler and Brandon Milby, Kylie and Joby Ostrofsky, and Sidney, Lizzy, Jaxon and Emery Ostrofsky, and outstanding friends and his loving caretaker, Martha Vargas and her family who treated him as if he was their uncle.
The Memorial Services will be at East Lawn Palms Mortuar & Cemetery on 5801 East Grant Road Tucson at 11AM on Sunday, April 8th.
In lieu of flowers, any donations should go to Jewish Federation Leif program in Tucson.
