Jasmine née Sander Donn Rosen, our dear child was born on July 15, 1997 and died on August 13, 2017; far too soon. Sharp, imaginative, creative and funny, though slight and small, Sander struggled through adolescence, but was, as Jasmine, healing those slings and arrows until an unexpected death. A budding artist and naturally gifted writer and poet, Jasmine was pursuing a passion for astrophysics by studying mathematics and physics at Pima Community College with plans to transition to University in January. Sander enjoyed sports, movies, reading, Pokémon, chess, music, neuroscience and psychology, desert ecology fieldwork, Mt. Lemmon and the ocean. Jasmine was active in the Tucson DIY music and art scene with many dear friends, while at the same time filling notebooks with equations and covering canvases with oils. Jasmine-Sander is survived by parents Philip C. and Julia C. Rosen, grandparents Sam and Miki (Bradt) Coffman, uncles and aunts David and Linda (Horn) Rosen, James and Mary (Davies) Rosene, David and Debet (Coffman) Kuehner, cousins Clay Burgett and Brandon, Ryan, and Sophia Rosene, great aunt Jane (Gibbs) Coffman and family, and great uncle Jim Coffman and family; and pre-deceased by grandparents Donn and Carmela (Berritto) Rosen and great uncles Charles Welles Rosen and Bill Coffman. Angels of history stare aghast, calling forth our better angels. Goodnight my prince. We and many friends love you and miss you beyond measure.
