Scott was born on October 11, 1957 in Des Plaines, Illinois where he grew up and developed a lifelong love for cross-country running at Maine East High School. In 1974 he moved with his family to Tucson and graduated from Catalina High School. Scott went on to earn his bachelor’s degree from the University of Arizona and later received his doctorate from Washington State University. He dedicated 31 years of his life to his work as a veterinarian.
Scott lived his life with kindness, curiosity, love and faith being the center of everything he did. A devoted man of Christ, he believed deeply in showing love through service—whether volunteering in his community association, welcoming friends and family for lively game nights or simply making people laugh.
He found happiness on a motorcycle, cruises, and exploring new places by RV and was a lifelong Cubs and UA fan. Above all else he cherished time with his wife, Susie, who was his greatest joy.
Scott is survived by his loving wife Susan Florian Sisler; his brother Bill St. Lawrence (Kristen); niece Leah St. Lawrence (Chad); nephews Ian, Blake, and Aiden St. Lawrence; step-children Brandie Cudney (Scott), Cheryl Wright (Jim), Carol Drath (Mike) and Rachael Hambacher (Chris); and grandchildren Jack Cudney, Katelynn Sisler (Daniel), Shelbie and Amanda Wright, Jordan, Abbey, and Reese Drath, and Emma, Matt, and Becca Hambacher. He is also survived by his aunts Noreen St. Lawrence and Kathy Shannon (Dennis), along with Karen Chavez (Tony) and many extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his mother Joan Irene Ruth and many beloved pets.
Services will be held on February 2, 2026 at 12pm at The Bridge Christian Church–East located at 8355 E. Tanque Verde Road in Tucson, Arizona.
