Shannan Brigode-Kaufmann, aged 45, passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2024. Born in Willoughby, Ohio, to August A. and Robin M. Brigode, Shannan moved with her family to Tucson, Arizona, at the age of four. She graduated from Cholla High School and earned her degree from Pima Medical Institute. She worked for the U.S. Census Bureau for the last several years.
A true firecracker, Shannan was known for her flair for the macabre, her joy in dressing up, her love for classic metal, her fascination with sharks, and anything Tigger.
With heavy hearts, she is lovingly remembered by her husband, Kristopher Kaufmann; her mother Robin Brigode and stepfather John Dierssen; her sister Megan Eagon, along with Megan’s husband Sam and son Dana. She is also survived by her blended family brothers, Zachary Dierssen, his wife Bronwyn, and their daughter Naia; and Russ Seekatz.
Shannan held a deep belief in life’s journey beyond this world, trusting that her spirit would continue on. Shannan’s essence will remain intertwined with those who love her. Waiting to welcome her on the other side are her father, August, her grandparents, and many more beloved family members and friends, as well as her cherished fur babies: Turbo, Mama Kitty, and Puppy.
