Met Sherry when I first moved to San Fernando Valley. I must have been 13 and starting ninth grade at Northridge. Sherry and I were like sisters. We even dressed the same. In 1969 Sherrys step-father moved to Panorama City and I talked my mom into moving so Sherry and I could finish school together. 
Supposedly I’m the one that got her husband to purpose.  We spent many birthdays together and lots of memories we always had to share.  She loved talking about the good old days and there were many.  I miss her and wish we hadn’t lost touch the last few years of her life.  I know she knew I loved her and always will. RIP, until we meet again.
