Stella G. Brown, 90, of East Pointe, Michigan, died peacefully on January 26, 2015 in Tucson, Arizona. She was born Stella Gertrude Ford. During WWII Stella worked as a "Riveter" in Detroit, Michigan. While working at Park Davis Pharmaceuticals, she met the love of her life, James J. Brown (predeceased) and married him in 1956. Stella and Jim were married for 58 years. Sadly, Jim passed away in September 2014, at the age of 89.
Together they raised three children. Survived by her sons, Kenneth(Carol); Gary(Stephanie); and her daughter Loretta (Jan Hauser); her grandchildren, Heidi, Christine, Eric, Kevin, Garrett, Ana and Clair; her brother, Harold (Delores); sister-in-law, Nellie Ford; and many nieces and nephews.
Stella loved her family, dearly. She is fondly remembered for her generosity, sense of humor, and excellent cooking. She will be greatly missed by her children, their families and extended family. Our hearts are filled with warm and fond memories of her.
May she rest peacefully with The Lord.
