Stephen Thomas Sheaffer

Stephen Thomas Sheaffer was born December 17, 1989 inTucson, AZ, and went home to be with Jesus at age 22 on February 2, 2012 . He is survived by his parents, Mike and Patty Sheaffer, brother, Timothy Sheaffer, and sister Danielle (Sheaffer) Ingold and grandparents, Thomas and Dorothy Addis, Stephen T. Sheaffer, and Bonnielee Swanson. He has 4 nieces, 1 nephew, 13 cousins, many uncles, and aunts. He attended Desert Christian High School. Stephen excelled at soccer growing up and it became one of his passions in life. He was also a great artist. When Stephen was 17 yrs. old, he joined the U.S. Army where he served two tours in Iraq. While in the Army, he developed camaraderie and brotherhood with many of his fellow soldiers and friends who became his family during his 4 years of service. Stephen left a lasting impact on those that knew him. He had a talent for making everyone around him laugh and his laugh was contagious. He was a great son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend and we will greatly miss him. He trusted Christ as his Savior at a young age so we look forward to the day when we will reunite with him in Glory. Titus 2:13 “as we wait for the glorious appearing of our Great God and Savior, Jesus Christ.” A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, February 11, at 2:00 pm, at EAST LAWN CEMETERY, 5801 E. Grant Rd., with a Memorial Service to follow at Craycroft Baptist Chruch, 5729 East 22nd Street. We will always love you, Stephen. .
