

Susan Carol Cash Devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother-to-be, sister and friend gracefully left this world to join her husband, Scollin "Chic" Cash and her parents, Karl and Iris Sifferman, in heaven on January 21, 2012. She is survived by her daughter, Cathy Winburn; sons, Cris and Shawn Cash; son-in-law, Joel; daughter-in-law, Wendy; former daughter-in-law, Kelli; sisters, Karlene Lacher and Jean Freitas; brother, Karl (Nick) Sifferman; grandchildren, Jerrin, Caitlin, Jessica, Justin, Allyson, James, Cooper, Carly, Casey and Colin and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was born on December 9, 1939 in Seattle, Washington. After graduating from West Seattle's Holy Rosary High School in 1957, Susan moved with Boeing as an administrative assistant to Lancaster, California where Chic happened to be stationed with the Air Force. They met on a blind date and were engaged six weeks later. They were wed on June 18, 1960 and lived in Lancaster and San Gabriel, California and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma before settling in Tucson in 1967. Susan worked for the Tucson Unified School District for over 20 years as an office manager at various elementary schools. She was involved at St. Cyril of Alexandria Church, St. Pius X Catholic Church, and St. Thomas More Catholic Newman Center where she actively lived her faith. Susan had a heart for helping others and enjoyed volunteering much of her time with the Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Arizona and the Old Fort Lowell Live-at-Home Program. She adored her grandchildren and loved spending time with them at her cabin in Pinetop, Arizona. She had an adventurous spirit that led her to take many unforgettable trips with cherished friends and family. Susan was a special friend to many and will be dearly missed.
