Susan Elizabeth McGinnis (Clark), 61, passed away on October 17, 2024, at her home in Tucson, Arizona.
Susan was born on February 3, 1963, in San Jose, California, to Robert “Bob” Clark and Virginia “Ginny” Clark. Proud of her California roots, Susan attended Buchsher High School in Santa Clara, California. She later graduated from UC Davis with a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations, participating in student government and contributing to significant projects, including the UC Davis Women’s Leadership Conference and Protocol for Peace. Excelling early in her career, Susan became a registered lobbyist and an award-winning Executive Director for the California Association of Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors. In 1995, Susan moved to Tucson, Arizona to become a wife and mother. Over the years, she enjoyed introducing her children, Connor and Teagan, to music, literature, language, and art. Susan always encouraged others to find their moxie and the magic in all things.
Susan’s children, Connor McGinnis and Teagan Kepp (McGinnis), her brothers, Steve and Jim Clark, and her nieces and nephews, Amy, Scott, Jon, Michelle, and Christopher Clark, remain to cherish her memory.
Preceding Susan in death are her parents, Robert “Bob” Clark and Virginia “Ginny” Clark.
Memorial services will be held on November 16, 2024, at East Lawn Palms Mortuary & Cemetery (5801 E Grant Rd, Tucson, AZ 85712) at 2 PM.
