Tony Cordova Nogales Jr.

Tony graduated from Cholla High School and went on to serve in the Military Air Force. He built a career in the Air Force and was attending Pima Community College. In all he pursued, Tony carried a spirited sense of adventure, a steady kindness that put others at ease, and a warm humor that could brighten even the heaviest day.

Tony loved his family, his girlfriend, Bonita, Patches & Charlie. His best friends were the best—always there through the good times and bad times. Administrators, faculty and staff all knew him, as did his military friends; Tony left an impression to last a lifetime.

Tony is preceded in death by his grandfather Manuel Carlos Cordova and his brother Antonio Frank Nogales. He is survived by his Grandmother Eva Cordova; his mother Mary Cordova; his sister Jacqueline Montenegro; his nephew Max; his brother Jose Luis-Guy; his nephew Joseph; his girlfriend Brianna Ving; Bonita, Patches & Charlie; his Aunt Myrna (Mark) Aguilar; Uncle Carlos (Gina) Cordova; his Aunt Lucy (Joe) Gonzales; his cousins Marcus (Lizette) MJ, Emily, Michael, Manuel (Chris) Cordova, Eva (Joaquin) Ahumada, Alanna, Delilah, Zues, Joey Gonzales; and his friends Blue (Edgar), Adrian (Nimsi), Jose M, Stevie, Jose F., J. Chavez—along with so many more friends that they couldn’t keep count.

A Rosary will be held at Funeraria del Angel South Lawn, 5401 South Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706, on August 14, 2026, from 3:30 pm to 4:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will follow at the same location on August 14, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Military Honors will follow on August 14, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 5:30 pm. Visitation will be held at the same location on August 14, 2026, from 5:30 pm to 10:00 pm.

Tony was a son, grandson, nephew, cousin, boyfriend, and friend. He will be so deeply missed and will always be in our thoughts and prayers and in our hearts. We love you dearly.
