Ve Oila Archie Bennett

Ve Oila Archie Bennett, age 94, of Tucson, Arizona passed away on Friday, August 16, 2024. Ve Oila was born on October 23rd, 1929, in Rock Hill, South Carolina, to James Archie and Icelean Roseboro, both of whom preceded her in passing. At the time of her passing she is survived by her devoted children; sons Mark Anthony Bennett (Martha), Vincent Bernard Bennett (Helen), and LaMonte Christopher Bennett, and daughter Jacquelyn Elaine Bennett. She is further survived by a large and loving family of grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, as well as nieces and nephews.

Ve Oila was a woman of great strength, faith, and accomplishment. She raised her family with a firm and nurturing hand, encouraging each of her children to grow and follow their chosen path with integrity. She herself spent her years founding building community programs and community services for state and city government, to uplift and support those around her.

Ve Oila's memory will be cherished in the hearts of all those who knew her.

A visitation for Ve Oila will be held Friday, August 23, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel South Lawn, 5401 South Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706.

An additional visitation will occur Saturday, August 24, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, followed by a funeral service from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

A committal service will occur Saturday, August 24, 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at South Lawn Cemetery, 5401 S Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706.
