Veronica Marie Case

November 4, 1957-April 24, 2026

Veronica Marie Case (68), of Tucson, Arizona, passed away on April 24th, 2026, in her home surrounded by family. Veronica was born in Tucson, AZ, to late parents; Bernard William Huser Sr. and Shirley Ann Huser (Mckinnon). Veronica was preceded in death by her son, Christopher Corey Case. She is survived by her daughter, Sarah Rothpletz, son-in-law, Johnathan Rothpletz and her grandson, Nathaniel Rothpletz, all of Tucson, Arizona. As well as siblings: Bernard Jr (Nancy) Huser of Pinetop Lakeside, AZ; Teresa Torrey of Phoenix, AZ; Katherine (Danny) Oaxaca of Tucson, AZ; Richard (Shiela) Huser of Tucson, AZ, and Charlotte (Stanley) Knitowski of Tucson, AZ. Nieces and Nephews to include: Jessica Garcia (Oaxaca), Vanessa Thomas (Oaxaca), Krystal West (Huser), McKinnon Huser, Katie Mirabelli (Huser), Edwin Knitowski, Kristen Oaxaca, Henry Huser, Michael Knitowski, Bernard Huser III, Robert Huser, Trey Torrey, and Layne Torrey. Her longtime friend and caregiver, Ida Ferguson, as well as many great nieces, nephews and cousins.

Veronica was a graduate of the University of Arizona. She gave her life’s work (46 years) to the State of Arizona, Division of Developmental Disabilities as a Habilitation Service Project Coordinator. Veronica was known as and will be remembered always as the best mother, grandmother, sibling and friend a person could ask for. She was caring to all and set a great example of kindness, integrity, and work ethic. There is peace that Veronica is no longer in pain and she is reunited in Heaven with her son.

A Mass for Veronica will be held on May 29th at 10:30am at St Odilia Catholic Church, 7570 N Paseo Del Norte Tucson, AZ 85704.
