Virginia June Thompson, age 91 passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2024. Virginia was born in June of 1933, in Terra Haute, Indiana, to John and Grace Goda, both of whom preceded her in passing. Virginia called Arizona home for 65 years, working as a technician support specialist for Motorola, in Mesa, before retiring to Tucson. She raised a family with her beloved husband and daughter, Peggy. She is preceded in passing by her late husband, whom she rejoins now in watching over their loved ones. She is survived by her daughter, Peggy Spinner, and her son in law, Scott Spinner.
A graveside funeral for Virginia will be held Thursday, January 2, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at South Lawn Cemetery, 5401 S Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706.
