A proud Army veteran, William served his country with honor before dedicating more than 25 plus years to working in the copper mines. His strong work ethic and determination later led him to become a small business owner, where he continued to serve his community with integrity and pride.
William was a man whose life was firmly rooted in his Christian faith. He lived according to the teachings of the Bible and faithfully shared God's Word with others. For many years, he taught the Adult Sunday School class at First Baptist Church of Arivaca, where he encouraged, mentored, and inspired countless people through his knowledge of Scripture and unwavering faith.
Above all, William cherished his family. He was a loving and devoted husband to his wife, Tamera, with whom he shared 30 wonderful years of marriage. Together they built a life centered on love, faith, and family. He was a proud father to Jeff, Krista, Tim, Tracie, Travis, and Crystal, and a beloved grandfather and great-grandfather to numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will forever treasure his wisdom, kindness, and steadfast example.
William will be remembered for his quiet strength, generous heart, unwavering faith, and the lasting impact he made on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. His life was a testament to the values he held dear—faith in God, love of family, honest work, and service to others.
Though he will be deeply missed, his family finds comfort in knowing that he has gone home to be with his Lord and Savior. His legacy of faith and love will continue to live on through the many lives he touched.
William R. Turner II will be forever loved, deeply missed, and never forgotten.
