

William Wayne Wallace was born on Nov. 20, 1951 to Mary Magdalene Powell Wallace and William Wallace in Yuma, Arizona, and went to walk with the Lord on March 6, 2026 to be with Him and his family that preceded him. He went to and graduated from Amphitheater High School in Tucson, Arizona in 1969. He was a talented sketch artist, taking correspondence art classes and was set to be to an art college with a scholarship. Life had other plans for Wayne and rather than be drafted, he joined the Air Force, making a major career change. He proudly served as a nuclear missile machinist for 20-plus years and retired from Air Force life. He worked after his military retirement at government contractors such as Raytheon in Tucson and had a tax business out of his own home.
In his personal life, Wayne married and divorced. He had twin sons, Kenneth Wallace and Jason Wallace. He was preceded in death by his son, Kenneth. He was also preceded in death by his father, William and more recently, his mother Mary.
Survivors are his brother, Larry J. Wallace (Joelle DeFranks), son Jason Wallace (Michelle), grandsons & granddaughter, Benjamin, Jonathan and Samantha Wallace, respectively. Wayne also had relative in the Nashville, Tennessee area, aunts Ruby Maydean Powell Baker and Barbara Powell Watts. There are also numerous cousins around Nashville.
Wayne will be buried at East Lawn Palms Cemetery in Tucson, Arizona, close to his parents on March 19, 2026 with full military honors. He was a good-hearted man, and enjoyed life to the fullest, and dealt with his later-in-life disabilities with grace. He will be missed.
