

Willie Mae Bell was born in Hayti, Missouri. She moved to Tuc son, AZ at the age of 16. She had six children – two daughters and four sons. She has six grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
She was a devoted member of Jericho of Hope of God in Christ (Tucson, AZ – Chad Strong, Pastor). She was a member of the mother’s board at Jericho of Hope of God In Christ. Willie Mae Bell received the Holy Ghost at the Miracle Church of God In Christ (under the deceased) Elder Martin, pastor over 44 years ago. She was called to the ministry under Elder Rayford Strong as a missionary – ordained and licensed though the Arizona State Church of God In Christ Women’s Department as an evangelist/missionary.
Willie held a revival in St. Louis and Hayti, Missouri and Tucson, Arizona. She was a religious counselor volunteer at the Pima County Adult Detention Center of Tucson, Arizona and Florence Arizona Dept. of Corrections. She was also a member of the Mount Zion District Sewing Circle and Missionary Circle at the Greater South Park C.O.G.I.C. until 2012. Willie was a prayer warrior and was a teacher of the Prayer and Bible Band and Home and Foreign Mission Department at Upper Room Church Of God In Christ (under the deceased) Elder High, Pastor. Up until her final days, she was active in community mission work at hospitals, nursing homes, the sick and shut-in, feeding and clothing the homeless, and teaching young ladies and men how to live a life for Jesus.
Missionary Willie Mae Bell is preceded in death by her father Willie Sellers and mother Bertha Lee Oliver; husband Willie Charles Bell; brothers Jessie Oliver and Robert Earl “Bo-Hunk” Oliver; sisters Dorothy Oliver and Marie Pickens (Sellers); neph ew Kevin “Big Mack” Oliver and Ricky Oliver (surviving spouse Alisa Oliver); sons Raymond Clayton Bell and Melvin Boyd Bell.
Missionary Willie Mae Bell is survived by sons Willie Charles Jr. and his children Marquita Bell, Willie Bell Jr, Jamal Bell; Lewis Wayne Bell, her daughter Armentha Bell and her children Andre Daniels, Keisha Howell; daughter Delisa Bell; grandson Raymond Bell; sisters Helen Davis, and Essie “Pie” West; a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many cherished friends.
