Yolanda Phillips, 83, wife, partner, and dear friend, passed away on January 4th, 2026. Yolanda was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in July 2022. Despite her immense bravery and the efforts of her doctors, treatment was unsuccessful.
She was born December 8th, 1942, in Las Cruces, New Mexico to Arturo and Roumalda Peña. Yolanda was resident of Tucson, Arizona for the past 27 years until her passing.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry, her children; Todd and Curt, daughter-in-law Jenelle, and granddaughter, Melody Grace, born January 8th, 2026.
A visitation will be held on February 18, 2026, from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm at East Lawn Palms Mortuary, located at 5801 East Grant Road, Tucson, AZ 85712.
The funeral service will follow on the same day from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm at the same location.
A committal service will take place from 1:30 pm to 2:00 pm at East Lawn Palms Cemetery, also at 5801 East Grant Road, Tucson, AZ 85712.
