Yuan-Yuan was born on April 19, 1933 in Canton, China. Life in rural southern China was hard, and harder still when communists took over the country. To seek a better life for himself and the family, he emigrated from China to the United States in 1985. His family was able to follow him, one by one thereafter, and settled in the ‘Gold Mountain’, a term of endearment Chinese often use for America. He worked in various restaurants in Tucson until his retirement. Through hard work and dedication, he was able to achieve his American dream.
Yuan-Yuan is preceded in death by his wife Ru-Yi 如意, and survived by his children Zhuo-Cong 卓聪 (Feng-Qing 风清), Xing-Lan 醒兰 (Shi-Xian 仕賢), Daniel 卓叠 (Su-Liu素柳), Bao-Lan 宝兰 (Bo-Lin 伯林) and Quincy 卓均; his sister Mabel 彩媚 (Buck 柏林); 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; numerous nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held at East Lawn Palms Chapel, 5801 E Grant Road, Tucson AZ 85712, on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM. Funeral Service will follow at the same venue at 10:00 AM.
