

Agnes Marie Rotter, 90, passed away on April 15, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the widow of the late James H. Rotter, who was the love of her life. They shared 52 years of a loving marriage and had four children who they deeply loved.
Born in Spokane, Washington, on May 11, 1927, she was the daughter of Melvin and Josephine White. She attended Olympia High School and spent the majority of her life in the Olympia area. Later in life, she shared time between Washington state and Arizona.
Aggie worked at the Triple X Restaurant, worked in the accounting section at the Washington State department, was an IBM supervisor and was a partner at Rotter’s Automotive Sales and Service.
Aggie led a full and happy life. She enjoyed most everything but especially enjoyed spending time with her family. She golfed regularly, participated in water aerobics, line dancing and most recently had taken up and enjoyed playing Mah Jong. Aggie had a love of hunting, fishing, camping and traveling.
Aggie will be remembered for her dedication to her family. She had an infectious smile and brought happiness to anyone who was blessed enough to know her. Aggie was a true friend, loving daughter, sister, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her children, Pamala Jean Hilderman (Jim Hilderman), Linda Marie James (Bob James), James Melvin Rotter (Gail Rotter), five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Aggie was preceded in death by her parents Melvin and Josephine White, her brother Melvin White, her daughter Sharon Lee James, and her loving husband James H. Rotter.
At the request of Agnes, there will be no memorial or funeral service. Agnes wanted to be remembered for her spirit and her love of life.
