Alan Boyd Kempton

February 26, 1963 – August 12, 2026

Alan Boyd Kempton, beloved father, grandfather, brother, husband and friend passed away peacefully on August 12, 2026 at the age of 63. He was born on February 26, 1963 to Leroy Faye Kempton and Betty Lou Kempton (Lavery).

Alan will be remembered for the love he had for his family and for the simple joys that brought him happiness throughout his life. He enjoyed watching sports, especially WWE, baseball, football, soccer and hockey. He also loved spending time playing board games, creating memories and enjoying good company with those around him.

Alan was preceded in death by his parents, Leroy Faye Kempton and Betty Lou Kempton (Lavery); his beloved wife, Belinda Kempton (Grinton); and his daughter, Jessica.

He is survived by his son, Michael Kempton, daughter-in-law, Ingrid Kempton; daughter, Michelle Kempton; grandson, Logan; and granddaughter, Belinda “Bella.” He is also survived by his siblings, Ray Evans, Cheryl Kinnamon, Yvonne Kempton, Warren “Dean” Kempton and Judy Kempton (Crandall).

Alan leaves behind a family who will carry his memory in their hearts and cherish the moments they shared with him. Though he is deeply missed, his memory will live on through his children, grandchildren, siblings and all those whose lives he touched.

Alan will be honored at a Funeral Service at Mills & Mills Funeral Home, 5725 Littlerock Road SW, Tumwater, WA 98512, US, on September 3, 2026, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.
