

Don was born May 19, 1952 to Albert Franklin Howard and Lois McNeely in Florence, AZ.
In the 1980’s Don moved his wife Linda and their sons to Tumwater, WA. When Linda became sick in the early 2000’s they moved to Shelton, WA
After his service in the Army, the jobs Don told stories about were his times as a LA Transit bus driver, a Shelton School District bus driver, a Little Creek Casino Resort poker dealer, and a bartender at the 40 et 8 where everyone loved him. Don loved people as much as he loved life. He always had a ready smile and hug for everyone he greeted.
Don is survived by his wife Edwina Dawn Howard. Also surviving him is his son Mathew Jason Howard, daughter-in-law Donna Christine Howard, and son Albert Donald Howard II.
His surviving grandchildren are granddaughter Rebecca Lynn Howard Ackerman, grandson-in-law Jory Hollis Ackerman, granddaughter Samantha Christine Howard Casey, grandson-in-law Christopher Richard Casey, granddaughter Stephanie Nicole Howard, and Rylan Mathew Howard.
Don’s only surviving brother is Edward Lee Howard, sister-in-law Jamie Marlene Howard, and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in passing is his wife Linda Rose Howard (2004), brothers Robert Dale Howard, Johnny Franklin Howard, sisters Joyce Darlene Howard, Elvinia Olene Howard, and Delores Faye Howard.
