Betty Bell Conway, 82, of Olympia passed away peacefully at home on March 8, 2011. Betty was born December 2, 1928 in Davenport, Oklahoma to William and Irene Roberts. She worked for San Jose Flight School and Memorial Clinic in Olympia until 1988, when she retired to enjoy time with her grandchildren. Family was a treasured part of her life, from caring for her beloved grandchildren to frequent family RV trips. Her other joys in life included sewing, spending time in her garden and baking Christmas goodies. Betty is survived by her daughter Pam (Glenn) Stuart, her son Steve Conway, her grandchildren Shelby and Carissa Conway, Travis Stuart and Mike Berens, great-grandchild Madalynn Berens, and her siblings Bob Roberts, Bessie Jean Hall, Bruce Roberts and Beverly Shea. She was predeceased by Harold Conway, her husband of 52 years. A celebration of Betty's life will be held on Monday, March 14 at South Sound Manor, 455 North Street SE Tumwater with a viewing at 9:00 a.m. and services at 10:00 a.m.
