Beverly Kent, 69, of Yelm, Washington, died peacefully with family at her side on May 17th, 2014 after 8 years fighting multiple myeloma cancer. She worked at Providence Hospital in Oakland, California and St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, Washington for a total of 30 years of devoted and award-wining service to the geriatric, psychiatric and home health populations. She was an incredibly generous and kind person, a lover of the outdoors, and a devoted nurse, mother, wife and friend.
She is survived by her husband, Dr. Raymond Kent, 2 children, and 3 step-children, as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins and friends. There will be a memorial service at Mills & Mills Funeral Home, 5725 Littlerock Rd. SW, Tumwater, Washington on May, 31st at 2:00 pm.
